01 | Kering Group Board of Directors Ushered in New Members: "Her" Influence

On June 17, 2020, Kering Group announced that three celebrities have become new members of the Kering Group’s board of directors. Two of them are Didi Chuxing President Jean Liu and actor Emma Watson.

Jean Liu initiated the establishment of the “Didi Women’s Alliance”, the first project in China’s Internet industry that focuses on women’s career development, and she has been listed in Fortune’s “World’s Most Influential Businesswomen” for four consecutive times. She was also selected in "Global Influential 100 List" by Time Magazine.

Emma Watson is now one of the most popular actors and most well-known activists in the world. In 2014, she was appointed as the UN Women’s Global Goodwill Ambassador and launched the “HeForShe” initiative to promote gender equality. Then in 2015 selected in the "Global Influential 100 List" by Time Magazine.

02 | Cartier Women's Entrepreneurship Award Recruitment Officially Launched: The World Applauds "Her"

The "Cartier Women Entrepreneur Award" was co-founded by Cartier and INSEAD in 2006 to promote social and business changes by empowering female entrepreneurs. The purpose of this award is to encourage and support female entrepreneurs, provide them with the capital, social and network resources needed for entrepreneurship, promote the growth of the enterprise, and enhance their leadership.

Since its inception, the award has helped 240 outstanding female entrepreneurs from 56 countries and accumulated more than US$3 million in bonus support for their companies.

In 2021, in order to further enhance the influence of the "Cartier Award for Women Entrepreneurs" and ensure that the awards keep pace with the times, starting from 2021, on the basis of the original seven regional winners, three new female entrepreneurs will receive awards——The shortlisted place-Science and Technology Pioneer Award, to expand the category of project awards, aiming to provide support for female entrepreneurs leading the frontier of scientific and technological innovation.

03 | “SHE Speak” by XNode & SAP: Listen to “Her”

Next month, XNode will kickoff the 2nd annual "SHE Speak" for SAP, the world's largest enterprise management and collaborative e-commerce solution provider and the world's third largest independent software provider.

10 outstanding female employees were selected from within SAP to join a bootcamp tailored to improve their public speaking and pitching skills. From pitch content to delivery, the goal is to enable women to grow their stage presence.

SAP BWN (Business Women Network) is the world's largest employee-driven network at SAP, with more than 13,000 members and 67 chapters worldwide. Gender equality is an important part of SAP's mission, and it also demonstrates one of SAP's core values:"Building bridges, not islands."

Over the past few years, the "Business Women Network" has grown exponentially, and now it has reached two-thirds of the female SAP workforce (26,000). It creates an atmosphere of tolerance and promotes various initiatives to help women in SAP reach their full potential.

XNode and SAP BWN have been working together since 2019 on an annual bootcamp to unlock the potential of young women leaders.

04 | 2020 LADIES WHO TECH Annual Convention: With "Her"

The Ladies Who Tech Annual Convention will return to Shanghai on August 29, with a one-day event centered on the theme "Technology Regardless of Gender", dedicated to giving more women a voice in the STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics) industry.

The Ladies Who Tech Annual Convention attracts a large number of audiences every year, and they are enthusiastic about the insights expressed by the speakers in the automotive industry, data science, semiconductor, financial technology, new retail and current development trends in the STEM field. The annual conference brings together thought leaders, entrepreneurs, role models and experts from various industries to share their life journeys, in-depth study of the role of women in the STEM industry, and continue discussions on gender diversity in their respective professional fields.
