XNode is pleased to announce a global partnership with HighTechXL: a global hardware accelerator delivering programs for technology startups and internal R&D projects of global brands like Philips, ASML, DSM, Canon, EY and ABN AMRO, a major Dutch bank. Together with HighTechXL, XNode intends to deliver a variety of new services to support corporate innovators in identifying new business opportunities through internal and external innovation. XNode has also just released a new product line called X·CIP that is focused on corporate innovation services. The line is a joint incubation platform created together with ZhangJiang Ventures under the support of the ZhangJiang Administration Committee and in collaboration with HighTechXL.

On July 20th, the ZhangJiang Corporate Innovation Network launched the first Corporate Innovation Roundtable: a collaboration between ZhangJiang Corporate Innovation, XNode and HighTechXL. We were very honored to have representatives from the innovation departments of Philips, BMW, Intel, L'atelier BNP Paribas, Unilever, Henkel, Auchan, Bayer, General Electric Appliance Group, Murata Co., IBM, RABO Bank, Konica Minolta and other multinational companies, and representatives from the Shanghai University of Science and Technology, the Pudong Science, Technology and Economy Committee, the Caohejing Science and Technology Innovation Center, the National Technology Transfer Eastern Center, the Australian Consulate, the Holland Consulate, the Spanish Consulate, and other ecosystem partners come and discuss the global trends and progress of corporate innovation.

Headline speaker Dr. Yongqin Zeng, Innovation Lead at Philips Healthworks, explained how Philips is leveraging the Philips Breakthrough Acceleration Program and helping internal corporate teams speed up innovation ideas by utilizing external innovation resources. The Program is organized by Philips Healthworks in partnership with HighTechXL, and runs from July 3rd to September 29th.

Building on the success of the first Corporate Innovation Roundtable, a series of Corporate Innovation Roundtables, CEO breakfasts and networking events will be launched over the coming months.
