StartupX opened and I2R enters a new stage

Intel’s I2R StartupX has officially launched in XNode Corporate Innovation Hub. StartupX is the natural next step for I2R, aimed to take Intel’s intrapreneurs out of the corporate nest, guide them to think and act like startup founders, and help them close their first sale faster.

I2R StartupX is designated to give Intel China employees a unique perspective to learn the insights of startup. Intel teams will accelerate the internal projects outside of familiar corporate walls. It will foster a culture of intrapreneurship, collaboration and innovation amongst the corporate innovators by completely immersing them within the vibrant startup ecosystem. Insights of intrapreneurship incubated at I2R StartupX will be naturally brought into Intel to form the comprehensive innovation atmosphere inside office.

XNode is a Startup Accelerator and Corporate Innovation Hub in Shanghai, which has attracted over 70 startup teams from more than 20 countries, and equips many entrepreneurship tutors, VCs and other stakeholders. By setting up an Innovation Lab at XNode, Intel corporate teams will engage with entrepreneurs, intrapreneurs and innovators. The teams will harvest the first-hand business experience by reaching out of the existing mode of enterprise and develop intrapreneurship from the third party perspective.

In addition to helping employees to turn ideas to reality, I2R is also committed to creating and fostering an intrapreneurial atmosphere within Intel. By turning Intel into China’s most creative company, I2R will help attract the best talents around the world.
